الرئيسية Departments Community Development Planning Housing Element HOUSING ELEMENT Housing Element 6th Cycle Update The City's Housing Element was certified by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on February 24, 2023. The Housing Element is a section of the City's General Plan that addresses housing needs and conditions within Lake Forest. It identifies goals, policies, and programs that the City uses to guide actions related to housing to ensure that we are prepared to meet the future housing needs of our community for the 2021-2029 planning period (6th Cycle). The City Council adopted the City's 2021-2029 Housing Element on January 4, 2022. Subsequent revisions were made based on comments from HCD.
