TRAFFIC

The Traffic Division's primary focus is to enhance traffic operations and traffic safety for the community. The Traffic Division team works together with the Engineering Division on many of the City's Capital Improvement Projects as it relates to traffic infrastructure and analysis. In addition, this division also works on a variety of citywide and neighborhood traffic and parking improvements such as:

Implement neighborhood traffic calming measures.
Maintain and replace traffic signal components to ensure optimum signal operations.
Maintain City pavement and curb markings and street signs.
Respond to citizen concerns by investigating traffic and parking concerns.
Conduct traffic studies and maintain up-to-date records on traffic counts and speed surveys.
Work together with Police Services and other agencies to improve traffic conditions in the City.
