首页 Community Parking Residential Parking RESIDENTIAL PARKING The City’s Residential Parking Management Manual (PDF) is intended to address the impacts of overflow parking and help manage residential on-street parking problems fairly. A residential permit parking program must meet the following criteria before it becomes eligible to be considered for approval by City Council: Overflow vehicles from a multi-family development must occupy 75% of the frontage on any residential street during any consecutive 6-hour period. Field reviews must demonstrate that 30 or more single-family detached homes or 1,000 feet of residential street frontage could be affected. The City evaluates an area for a Residential Permit Parking Program only once in a 24-month period. If a residential area does not meet these requirements, the Manual provides other methods of addressing overflow parking and its effects. Review the Permit Parking Policy (PDF) for more information. Residential Parking Evaluation The residential parking evaluation matrix (pictured right) shows how parking concerns and issues are evaluated. As each residential parking scenario is unique and expresses varying characteristics, the measures taken are determined based on the nature and severity of the issue. Residential Permit Parking Program If you have a property located within an area that has permit parking, please request a permit here. 2024 permits expire on December 31, 2024.
