Zoning Code Amendment 12-21-5483
Zoning Code Amendment 12-21-5483 is a City-initiated Zoning Code Amendment to add Chapter 9.60 of the Lake Forest Municipal Code to establish objective design standards for new multifamily projects in the City. These standards will be used to review multifamily projects that are subject to a discretionary review and for projects that fall under a ministerial by-right review subject to the requirements of Senate Bill 35. The Planning Commission’s action serves as a recommendation to the City Council.
The proposed ordinance adopts objective design, development, and subdivision standards for urban lot splits and two-unit projects approved in accordance with Senate Bill 9 (SB 9). The two-unit project standards will be added to the LFMC as Chapter 9.52. The urban lot split standards will be added to the LFMC as Chapter 7.50. The Planning Commission’s action serves as a recommendation to the City Council.
