Council Asks for More Information on Potential Park Lighting

No Decision on Portola Park Lights: The City Council on Tuesday asked staff to bring back current prices and more options on potential lighting at Portola Park - nothing was approved.

The Council did, however, rule out even the remotest possibility of tall Musco lighting.

Four people appeared at the meeting and spoke in favor of lighting the pickleball and volleyball courts, along with the dog park. Three residents told the Council they oppose any lighting.

The Council discussion follows that, with the motion - for staff to do more study and bring back more information - is at 2 hours, 20 minutes.

That motion, which did not approve any lighting and only asked staff to bring back more information, was approved unanimously.
