Clean Lake Forest seeks volunteers for its National Day of Clean-Up event Saturday, September 18th, from 8 to 11 a.m. at Pittsford Park (21701 Pittsford, Lake Forest).
Clean Lake Forest is a community-driven clean-up initiative designed to aesthetically improve the City by cleaning public spaces. The organization’s goal is to unify and beautify Lake Forest by assisting with grassroots community clean-up projects.
Volunteers will meet at 8 a.m. at Pittsford Park to pick up supplies (bags, gloves, and trash pickers) before driving themselves to the location they registered to clean. Volunteers will return to Pittsford Park at 11 a.m. for closing remarks, certificates from the Mayor, and other day-of-event surprises.
