Clean Lake Forest is a community driven clean-up initiative designed to aesthetically improve the City by cleaning parks, streetscapes, and public spaces through litter and graffiti removal. The goal of this initiative is to unify and beautify Lake Forest by assisting with grassroots community clean-up projects that engage residents, non-profits, local businesses, and civic leaders.
Lake Forest continues to focus on regular maintenance throughout the City by handling inquiries regarding graffiti, illegal dumping, park maintenance and other issues. City contractors handle an average of five illegal dumping cases each month. Last year alone, more than 315 graffiti reports were received through the City's Ask Lake Forest system.
Residents are encouraged to download the City of Lake Forest mobile app or visit the Ask Lake Forest (ALF) page to report issues throughout the City.

Clean Lake Forest gathered more than 250 volunteers on Saturday, March 26, 2022, for the Citywide Clean-Up Event. The volunteers spanned out to streets, trails, and parks all over the City to help Clean Lake Forest in its initiative to beautify Lake Forest.
Nearly 15 tons of trash was collected! Volunteers were rewarded for their hard work with certificates from the Mayor and amazing raffle prizes.

"Thanks, Suzy!
We are planning on participating in the next Clean Lake Forest event on June 25th! The kids had a blast at the one last weekend and we all felt so good clearing all that trash from the Nature Park!
