Community Workshops

In 2016, the City involved the community throughout the design phase to ensure the community’s values are reflected in the Lake Forest Civic Center.

• May 7, 2016 General Workshop II builds upon key themes that emerged from the first workshop. Participants engaged in an interactive discussion and reviewed an image board containing examples of facilities and amenities.
• April 28, 2016 Senior Center Workshop II was held to build upon key themes that emerged from the first workshop.
• March 19, 2016 General Workshop offered an opportunity for attendees to help identify priorities for the Civic Center.
• February 25, 2016: The City held a Senior Center Community Workshop. Over 70 attendees participated in exercises to help identify priorities for the Senior Center, Civic Center, and Natural Environment.
