Sign Up for the Community Emergency Preparedness Academy

The City is now accepting registration for the 2017 Community Emergency Preparedness Academy (CEPA) academy. The Lake Forest CEPA is a yearly event sponsored by the City and the Orange County Sheriff's Department. CEPA is a joint effort between the City, the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the Orange County Fire Authority and Care Ambulance. During the course of the academy, program participants will learn the basics of disaster preparedness including fire safety, disaster first aid, and light search and rescue. The training also includes certification in first aid/CPR and AED operation.

Class and Registration Information:

Date: Classes start on Wednesday March 1, 2017 and continue for six consecutive Wednesdays thereafter.

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location: Lake Forest City Hall (25550 Commercentre Drive)

Fee: FREE

Registration: Contact Stephanie Karg at skarg@lakeforestca.gov or at (949) 461-3474. The academy enrolls approximately 30 students. Once the class is full, interested participants will be placed on an interest list for the 2018 Academy.
