  1. Explorer Post 449

    In May of 1959 the Orange County Sheriff’s Department formed the 1st law enforcement explorer post in the nation, for career-oriented young adults, age 14 through 20. It is a co-educational, young adult program supervised by Lake Forest police services and provides an opportunity for young adults to explore the law enforcement field.

    Lake Forest contracts with OC Animal Care for animal control services.

    The City of Lake Forest is pleased to offer various volunteer opportunities to its residents.

  4. Sheriff's Team of Active Retired Seniors (STARS)

    The Sheriff's Team of Active Retired Seniors is a senior citizen volunteer program through the City of Lake Forest. It was founded in 1997 to assist the City of Lake Forest and the Lake Forest Police Services.

  5. Students Working & Advising for Government (SWAG)

    The City of Lake Forest is pleased to offer various volunteer opportunities to its residents.
